Due to recent legislative changes in MEC's statute RCW 47.64.220, a portion of MEC's rules, WAC 316-85, needed to be revised. After public review, proposed rules were filed with the Washington State Register's office on 2/6/08 and were included in WSR 08-04-105. No comments were received, so the Rule-Making Order was filed 4/22/08. The rules became final 5/23/08.

Review of MEC's rules, WAC 316-55, Impasse Resolution, has begun. This chapter also needs revision due to legislative changes. Please send any proposed to changes to the MEC Office.
