On 7/1/11, in compliance with 2ESSB 5742 signed into law 6/7/11, the Marine Employees' Commission has become the Marine Division of the Public Employment Relations Commission. All filings that previously would have been filed with the Marine Employees Commission' should be filed directly with the Public Employment Relations Commission.

Salary Surveys
The 2010 salary survey report, conducted by Hay Group, was approved and adopted by the Marine Employees' Commission on March 12, 2010.
The 2008 salary survey report, conducted by Milliman for the State of Washington Department of Personnel, was approved and adopted by the Marine Employees' Commission on June 20, 2008.
The 2006 interim salary survey report, conducted by the State of Washington Department of Personnel State Compensation unit, was approved and adopted by the Marine Employees' Commission on June 28, 2006.
The 2005 salary survey report, conducted by the State of Washington Department of Personnel State Compensation unit, was approved and adopted by the Marine Employees' Commission on February 25, 2005.
